Lisa Scott Lee is a Welsh singer-songwriter best known for being part of the pop group Steps. She began her career as a member of the said group in 1997. During her time with Steps, she enjoyed success thanks to 14 singles hitting the Top 10 spots of the UK Charts. In 2001, the group split up.

After Steps, Lisa Scott Lee became managed the group 3SL, which was composed of her three younger brothers. Later on, she worked on a solo career and signed a deal with Mercury Records. In 2003, she returned to the entertainment world with her debut single “Lately.” The single was released in May of the said year and entered the charts at #6.

In September 2003, Lisa Scott Lee came up with her second single, “Too Far Gone.” The single entered the charts at number 11.

In the summer of 2004, Lisa Scott Lee took part in the music video for the song “Do You Think I’m Sexy,” where she was one of the Girls of FHM featured on the said clip. During this time she was also working on a new single.

Not long after, Lisa Scott Lee released the song “Get It On.” She collaborated with the Intenso Project to come up with the said single, and eventually a music video was made to promote the said song. The single was eventually picked up by Ministry of Sound and was re-released in November 2004. The video for the song was listed as one of FHM’s top 100 sexiest music videos.

In 2005, Lisa Scott Lee starred in her own reality show entitled “Totally Scott Lee.” The show followed the lives of herself and her husband Johnny Shentall, and the rest of her family. The main focus of the series was to watch her progress in scoring a Top 10 hit with her upcoming single. While on the show, Lisa Scott Lee worked on her song “Electric,” which in turn reached only #13 in the UK charts. “Totally Scott Lee” has also been aired in countries outside the UK. She followed the song with a new single, “Boy on the Dancefloor,” released through her website in December 2005.

In 2006, Lisa Scott Lee joined the reality celebrity dance contest “Dancing On Ice,” and took part in the “Dancing on Ice: The Tour” in May 2007.

In summer of 2007, she released her first full length solo album, “Never Or Now.”
